Maria G. Peterson: Paralegal

Maria has been Norbert U. Frost’s right hand person since 2010. She provides each client with excellent personalized customer service. Maria is attentive to every client’s needs; she maintains an open dialogue keeping clients abreast of the progress with their matter.
Maria and Norbert meet daily to discuss strategy, assess progress on client matters, and make sure their work is complete and on time. Under Norbert’s supervision, Maria drafts correspondence and pleadings, performs legal and factual research, prepares court forms, maintains ongoing communications with clients, opposing counsel and court staff, and assists clients with gathering and organizing the information needed for their matter.
Maria earned her Bachelor of Arts degree and Paralegal Certificate from Sonoma State University. She also holds an Associate Degree from Santa Rosa Junior College. Maria is a member of the San Francisco Bay Area Paralegal Association and regularly attends continuing education classes to keep abreast of the latest developments in the law. She has broad experience in the business world, and also worked with the Sonoma County Superior Court Family Law Facilitator’s office and as a free-lance paralegal.
Maria enjoys spending time with her husband, two adult children, and their adorable dog Boots. She enjoys reading, learning about other cultures and languages, social media, music, movies, museums, local events, and eating out at dog-friendly restaurants.
